Iomega Corporation announced that the Iomega line of Windows-based network-attached storage (NAS) servers will begin transitioning to Microsoft Windows® Storage Server 2003 operating system software in the fourth quarter of 2003. The operating system update is expected to provide Iomega NAS customers with enhanced scalability and data protection, bringing increased enterprise-level features within reach of small and medium-sized businesses.

Intel Corporation unveiled two high-performance, programmable digital media microprocessors that have been optimized for the document imaging market segment. The new digital media processors were developed in cooperation with Xerox Corporation. Intel is now sampling the new processors to document processing manufacturers worldwide.
