IT Europa: ASBIS raises game with London listing

IT Europa, an authoritative publication on Europe’s ICT channel, published an article on ASBIS’ listing at the London Stock Exchange. The article refers to ASBIS as ‘a major contender in wholesale across eastern Europe’ and extensively quotes ASBIS’ CEO Siarhei Kostevitch, who comments on the company’s objectives and plans related to the listing.

ASBIS CZ Adds New Vendors – Targus and iiYama

ASBIS Czech Republic has expanded its local product offering by signing up two new vendors – Targus and iiYama. Targus is the leading global supplier of notebook carrying cases and accessories, such as laser and optical PC mice, security locks, notebook sleeves, etc.

ASBIS Romania Expands In-Country Operations

ASBIS Romania moved to expand its in-country operations by appointing two new sales representatives in the Romanian regions of Moldova and Banat. This expansion, due to include also Transylvania in the future, is part of a long-term corporate development strategy. This move follows the enlargement of the company’s warehouse area by 350 sq. m. in downtown Bucharest. To prop up the expansion ASBIS Romania also hired additional staff which now counts a total of 40 employees.

Canon Digital Products Added to ASBIS Ukraine Portfolio

ASBIS Ukraine signed a distribution agreement with Canon, a world-leading innovator and provider of photographic and imaging technology. ASBIS Ukraine is now able to offer its customers all over the country a wide range of Canon digital cameras, as well as SELPHY series photo printers. The new agreement will allow the company to significantly extend its offer of digital cameras.

ASBIS Serbia extended its product offering by signing a distribution deal with Konica Minolta, an innovative developer, manufacturer, and supplier of document printing solutions. The distributed product line includes color and monochrome laser printers, and associated supplies and accessories for general office, electronic publishing, graphic design, advanced imaging, and home office applications.

ASBIS Romania has become Samsung's official partner and is now entitled to distribute the entire portfolio of Samsung products (LCDs, printers, digital cameras, peripherals and multimedia) on the local market. ASBIS Group, a leading supplier of computer components to the EMEA emerging markets, received the Highest Growth Award from Transcend Information, Inc., a world-class leader in the field of memory and consumer electronics.
