The new Prestigio DVD players are available in three different sizes catering to versatile needs of mobile consumers. All the models sport a thin-profile, 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD panel designed in ‘flip-up’ format so that the screen is more protected from scratching, knocks and bangs when not in use. When in use, the players boast of anti-shock protection, ideal for bumpy car journeys.
The smallest PPDP370 model features a highly compact 7-inch screen, the medium-sized PPDP585 uses a handy 8.5-inch screen, whilst the “senior” PPDP710 model with its large-format 10-inch screen provides dramatic video images that defy the compact size of the player.
The units are capable of playing DVD +R/-R/RW, CD-R/RW, and support DVD-Video, Audio CD, Kodak Picture CD media formats. So they can be used not only as a portable cinema but a mobile jukebox too for all-round entertainment possibilities.
Highly enjoyable sound is delivered by the built-in 1.5W stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Digital decoder, but for more personal entertainment the headphone jack can be used. With a built-in card reader, video and audio outputs, as well as the inclusion of a USB port you can plug in a multitude of external devices. The multilingual on-screen menu provides for easy navigation.
