ASBIS continues its humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. The UkraineHelpFund that the company established in March 2022 has already provided over 27000 medical products and first aid kits, technology resources, such as power generators and power banks, and numerous other essential items.
Looking for additional ways to help, ASBIS teamed up with multiple local non-profit organizations. Together, they reached out to the Ukrainian hospitals and organized the delivery of ambulance vehicles to those that struggled with providing emergency help.
Ten vehicles were sourced from Poland and Netherlands, fully stocked with equipment, and sent to the Ukrainian border for collection by the hospitals’ representatives.
From the border, ambulances were taken to Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and to a children’s hospital in Mykolaiv. The ambulances arrived safely to their destination and are ready to come into use immediately.
“The spirit of unity of ASBIS employees has never been at a higher level. Our dedicated team has been monitoring the situation in Ukraine to see where our help is needed. At these critical times, our fast response can help save a life, so ASBIS will continue its efforts to support Ukraine.” - said Serhei Kostevitch, CEO and President of the BOD of ASBIS Group.
