ASBIS Middle East yields three prestigious channel awards

ASBIS Middle East, a subsidiary of ASBISc Enterprises PLC (WSE: ASB), has been honored with “IT Distributor of the Year” (Broad line products), “Mobility Distributor of the Year”, and “Specialized Distributor of the Year” awards at the regional industry’s most renowned events: Channel Middle East Awards 2017, VAR Choice Of Channel Awards 2017, and Reseller Middle East Partner Excellence Awards 2017.

ASBIS Middle East was named the best “IT Distributor of the Year (Broad line products)” at the Channel Middle East Awards 2017 ceremony, which was held at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The 10th edition of the annual Channel Middle East Awards 2017 honored stellar performance and dedication to the development of the regional channel over the last 12 months. The Channel Middle East Awards recognizes the vendors, distributors, systems integrators, resellers, retailers, partner programs and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the region's fast evolving IT channel sector. The “IT Distributor of the Year” (Broad line products) award recognizes distribution companies, which have shown commendable success in terms of sales volume, logistical ability, reseller support, market expansion and other outstanding achievements in the field of IT distribution. The winners are decided by an independent panel of expert judges from the industry. 

ASBIS Middle East was awarded “Mobility Distributor of the Year” for its Mobility and retail focus during the VAR Choice Of Channel (COC) Awards Gala 2017, which was held at the Shangri-la hotel in Dubai. The 11th edition of the annual VAR COC Awards included nominations from the industry, which were followed by online voting on www.varonline.com. The channel voted for their preferred choices and a select jury vote helped validate the results. The VAR COC Awards have had the pioneering impact in the Middle East region as the first ever awards for the ICT channel by a media company. 

ASBIS Middle East became the winner in the “Specialized Distributor of the Year” nomination of the 8th edition of the annual Reseller Middle East’s Readers’ choice partner excellence awards, which was held at the Conrad hotel in Dubai. The Reseller Middle East (ME) Partner Excellence Awards 2017 event recognized ICT industry players who have excelled through a dedicated channel approach, by sustaining and driving their business despite challenging market circumstances, and by leading the space with innovative strategies and solutions. The Awards process involved a panel of judges evaluating the set of nominations from across the region to shortlist the most-deserving candidates from channel partners, distributors and vendors. Once shortlisted, the winners of these categories were decided by online Reseller ME readers voting.
